What is the allowed booking period at QuintaduTerrim?
You can book QuintaduTerrim between 10am and 11pm.
Is there a minimum booking period at QuintaduTerrim?
From October till April, the minimum booking period is 3 hours.
During the months of May, June and Sptember, the minimum booking period on weekends is 6 hours and 4 hours on weekdays.
During the months of July and August, the minimum booking period is 8 hours on weekends and 6 hours on weekdays.
Exceptions will be subject to approval.
Is QuintaduTerrim shared with other groups?
Booking QuintaduTerrim is always on an exclusive basis, i. e., each group will have exclusive access to QuintaduTerrim during the period booked.
My group is much smaller than 40 people, why isn't the rate lower?
A minimum rate was set to justify renting QuintaduTerrim. For this reason, even if the group is much smaller than 40 people, the applicable minimum hourly rate is €70.
Are children taken into account on the group size?
Yes, children from 3 years old (inclusive) are considered.
Can I prepare the decoration before the event?
Decoration carried out by contracted decorators is subject to the payment of 25€ per hour until the start of the event.*
Decoration carried out by members of the group (up to 4 people) is subject to the payment of 35€ per hour.
The venue exclusivity (beginning of the event) starts only at the agreed time and only from that moment on guests and other members of the group will be able to go inside.
*entry will only be allowed from 10am onwards.
Can I use party stuff such as confetti and/or fireworks?
No, cleaning up traces of confetti is extremely difficult to carry out and as such we do not allow the use of party supplies. The use of fireworks or any form of combustion or pyrotechnics (e.g. torches, bonfires, spitfire, very-lights, etc.) is prohibited due to the risk of accidents and fire.
I booked QuintaduTerrim from 2pm till 10pm. I arrived an hour later. Can I leave one hour later?
No, QuintaduTerrim is prepared and made available at the stablished check in time according to the booking schedule, therefore not responsible for any delays. All overtime will be paid according to the agreed event's hourly rate upon reservation.
I booked QuintaduTerrim from 10am to 6pm. The group is having fun and would like to extend it. Is it possible?
If there are no appointments after the agreed check-out time, the group can extend and pay the overtime, according to the hourly rate previously set for the event. The request to extend must be made until the last 30 minutes of the time stipulated for check-out (in this example, until 5:30pm).
The check-out time is near but I am late tidying up QuintaduTerim and the departure of the guests. Can I stay longer for this purpose?
The owners ensure that QuintaduTerrim is ready and available for check-in at the stipulated time. Likewise, they expect that the person responsible for the group, has everything organized at the agreed time for check-out. It is then assumed that, at check-out time, all guests have left and the property is ready for inspection. If there are delays in the departure of the guests and/or in the organization of the venue, the rate for the extra hour(s) will be applied.
If it rains what happens to my reservation?
It is intended that all those who rent QuintaduTerrim fully enjoy its conditions and potential. When it rains, these conditions are naturally not met. Thus, there are two options, the reservation is adjusted to another available date or the amount payed is refunded.
Can I visit QuintaduTerrim before booking?
Yes, visits to the venue can be scheduled after confirmation of availability of the chosen date by QuintaduTerrim and that there is a clear understanding of the rules and prices.
Do you provide tables, chairs, cooking and diningware according to the number of attendees in the event?
Renting the venue, excludes all material/equipment for cooking or serving, as well as accessory furniture and consumables (toilet paper, garbage bags, napkins, etc). These materials will have to be brought by the group or catering company hired.
QuintaduTerrim has a limited number of tables and chairs available that can be requested when booking.
How does cleaning at the end of the event works?
It is not required for the property to be returned in the same conditions as it was at the beginning of the event, however a minimum general cleaning will be required.
All garbage, food, decorations and traces of the event must be removed.
Can I hire DJ services, bands, dancers, entertainers, etc...?
QuintaduTerrim provides a sound system that shall be used during the event. At 10pm music should be turned off.
DJs, concerts or loud music are prohibited. The event plan must be shared and validated by QuintaduTerrim before booking, under the risk of being canceled at any time without refund of amounts paid.
Is there any interior space or tent?
No, the venue is the exterior of QuintaduTerrim, and the only semi-interior environment is the Tiki-style kitchen/bar area.
My preferred date is far away, shall I get in touch way in advance?
Yes. To ensure your date will be available, you should contact QuintaduTerrim as soon as possible as the demand is very high, especially for weekends.
I am just looking for a place to spend an afternoon with my family/friends. Is QuintaduTerrim available for gatherings other than for events?
Yes. QuintaduTerrim has all the conditions for a private gathering with friends/family.
Are there any limitations I should be aware of?
Yes, QuintaduTerrim is located in an area of private family farms, so there must be respect for the community during the event and accessing to it.
